Nature Live Cams

Privacy policy

What we collect

Nature Live Cams doesn’t use accounts, forms, cookies of its own or analytics that track you across websites. Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested page and browser) for security and to diagnose faults. They are deleted automatically after a short period.

Third parties

  • Still images load from the servers of the observatories and agencies that publish them, which may see your IP address, as with any image on the web.
  • YouTube livestreams use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you press play. From that moment, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
  • INGV livestreams play from garr.tv, the Italian research network’s video service, also only after you press play.

Advertising

Nature Live Cams is funded by Google AdSense ads. To choose which ads to show, limit how often you see the same one and measure how they perform, Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, may place and read cookies in your browser, or use similar technologies, taking into account your previous visits to this and other websites.

  • In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, none of those cookies is used without your consent, which you are asked for through a Google-certified message. You can change your choice at any time from that same message.
  • You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center, and other vendors' at aboutads.info.
  • How Google uses information from sites that show its ads: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

While ads are not switched on, none of these cookies is set. What each service uses is on the cookie policy page.

Controller and your rights

The controller is Edgar Ponce Anducas (info@naturelivecams.com). You can ask for access, correction or deletion of any data about you by writing to that address, and you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
